It’s true! I did walk through an ice cave.
Last weekend Sweetie and I followed a frozen riverbed to a set of ice caves known as the Devil’s Oven. It sounds ominous but it was gorgeous! The steep riverbanks kept us sheltered from the wind and even in -10 degrees Celsius we were able to embrace the sunny winter day.
It really did feel like we had stepped into a forest fantasy!

This morning I am cozy and warm and grateful to be at home as a little winter storm finishes blowing through. It was the perfect time to record a little walk through of the Forest Fantasy Journal Kit for the Notes Club members.
I used some of the weekly planner pages from this kit in this Notes Club post:
3 Unique Ways to Use Journal Planner Pages – Nola Noreen!
If you are cozied up at home this morning and thinking of pulling out your journal, check out the walk through of this kit and let me know if you would use it.

Wow! What an amazing place to visit. Your beautiful journaling pages are so creative, too! Thank you for sharing this post with us at the Will Blog for Comments #56 linkup! We hope to see you sharing more with us–posts can be old or new!–at #57 which opens Monday morning. Stay warm. 🙂
Thanks Jennifer! I enjoyed exploring all the posts on your link up and will be back to see what’s in the next round. Thanks for hosting!
Beautiful photos, I’d like to visit ice caves sometimes, but, … the cold … Well someday maybe.
Jeanne, you read the next note all about how to stay warm and enjoy winter. The ice caves were really fun to explore. We didn’t get cold at all and had a lovely afternoon but (as you can tell from the photos) I was geared up!
