About Nola Noreen!
I am a life-long learner who likes to explore opportunities, and live simply.

Welcome
I’m Nola Noreen!
My journey to simple living began when my marriage ended as I turned 40.
More by survival instincts than good planning, I simplified my life, paid off more than $150,000 in debt, launched two amazing children into the world, and seriously downsized my stuff, my home, and my lifestyle.
I became a minimalist, slowed down, and simplified everything about life.
More than a decade later I still think it was the best lifestyle choice I could ever have made.
Thanks to my simplified life, even with the financial hiccup that comes with divorce, I am now working part-time and exploring early retirement in my 50’s.
I get to spend my time doing things I love with people that I love.
Things like special trips with my daughters, adventures with my Sweetie, hanging out at coffee shops, journaling, growing a food forest, and creative projects all happen on the regular.
My simple living journey has been a complete life makeover. My life is so much richer now!
And I want that for you too.
This blog invites you to upgrade your lifestyle by simplifying your life.
