This was a first for me!  I have a great urban sketch in my collection titled Sourdough Bakery.  It’s an adorable little bakery with the best sourdough cinnamon buns you have ever had in your life.  The building itself is charming and rustic.  My sketchy side-kick and I visited it during our honeymoon last summer.

The original sold to the owners of the bakery – a lovely young couple who are building their business with vision and heart.  Prints were available in my online Art Storefronts gallery in several different formats (i.e. on fine art paper, canvas, metal, etc.).

An individual reached out to me and acknowledged that he knew there were prints, but would like to have an original.  Would I consider doing another?

I have never had this happen before.  The only time I had previously redone a piece was Dawson City Radio because I was in love with the subject but unhappy with my first attempt.  I never published the first attempt.

I did do another original (pictured above) as a commission piece and titled it Chilkoot Bakery.  Prints are available for both pieces online in my Art Storefronts gallery.  Unless of course…you’d like me to do another original!
